Is the City of Asheville only interested in the revenue from annexed areas?
The City’s annexation program targets areas with high growth potential, gateways to the City, and areas likely to undergo land use changes. These areas represent the greatest challenges to our quality of life. Growth management and fair, effective and efficient service provision are just as important to the City as revenue.
