Is the CIC supporting the settlement agreement between Google and the authors/publishers?
The CIC universities are aware of the terms of the Settlement Agreement filed with the U.S. District Court and are working as a community to fully understand the impact on our 2007 Agreement with Google. We want to ensure that the original project goals endorsed by the CIC will continue to be supported and advanced. In the meanwhile, scanning at Indiana and elsewhere can continue uninterrupted under the terms of the CIC’s 2007 Agreement.
