I know what you mean, I sponsor a child in Kenya… and at first I was worried that it was a scam. When I got the first letter from the child, everything changed. My church promotes it… and I have a friend who went on a mission and got to see her child that she sponsored. The girl had kept my friends letters and pictures in her village home.
