Yes, if the IEP team determines that the student needs access to an assisitve technology device at home to implement the educational program, the student may take it home. An example of this would be if a student with a physical disability may not be able to complete homework assignments without acess to a calculator at home. Many devices are smaller and are easier to carry to and from school.
