Is the Chicago Machine logo a subliminal Parking Meter promo?

0

I have to admit I hadn’t noticed the resemblance between the lacrosse stick in this logo and a parking meter, but after GapersBlock.com and then TheExpiredMeter.com made the comparison, I can see their point. And it all makes me just a little bit angry, since I now have to buy a roll of quarters about every other week just to park in Chicago. But the Chicago machine (small “m”) did not pay the Chicago Machine (capital “m”) for the advertising. Or so I have been told.
