Is the Centurions integrated modem a security concern?
No. The security of the Centurion system cannot be compromised by the integrated modem. When a software upgrade or system expansion is necessary, the customer must physically place a land line into the according location on the Centurion System. Prior to this step, the customer must call StopTech with a certified password in order to begin the process. This allows for a system of checks and balances to ensure that the system’s security cannot be breached.
