Is the Catholic Church protesting too much about The Da Vinci Code?

I personally feel that if you truly believe in your faith then no one or thing can destroy it. I read the book then I watched the movie and then I purchased the DVD. It throughly enjoyed all of them but at the end of the day it did not change what I believe in. It is said that ‘The Da Vinci Code’ was a work of fiction and I really do not care if it was based on facts, it does not change my beliefs in a man that once walked the Earth and now rules in Heaven.
