The Catholic Church is not a cult. Nobody is forced to be a Catholic or to proclaim they are Catholic. If they want to leave the Church, they are free to do so. Christ himself, who is Almighty God, did not force anybody to follow Him. When they would not believe Him in John 6, He let them go. Similarly, His Church, the Catholic Church, will let go of any Catholic who wills to leave.
they influence the laws we have and the way our government works so even if we we do not call our selves catholic we are still forced to live by their mind set they have a very large influence on our government and we pay taxes to them so ya they are a cult if you say it is not a cult because poeple can leave well unless you leave the country you still live under there rule and even if you move out of the contry you may still be under their rule remember the old sang the sun never sets on the British empire well that could be said about the catholic church
