All streams are or will be identified in the project area. Provisions are made in the construction plans to eliminate any impacts to streams outside the construction limits. Any impacts to streams within construction limits are mitigated to minimize impacts. What specific design elements will DOT include to minimize adverse impacts to local neighborhoods (sound barriers, visual screenings, land buffers, etc.)? Will there be park space to buffer the surrounding neighborhoods and measures to protect the surrounding neighborhoods from the increased noise? The environmental document analyzes impacts to the existing area including noise studies that project future noise levels. Mitigation commitments based on Federal and State policies equivalent to comparable projects in the State will be included in the document.
