Is the Bush Presidency a poison pill for whoever follows?
Though Bush has made mistakes, things also could have been worse. We could have completely ignored the war on terror and we (the U.S.) could have been attacked several times. The economy could be in a lot worse shape. We are still the richest country in the world. Some of the things you mentioned, China, Russia … what could any President do about those other countries? Global Warming is a hoax and Bush has done FAR too much — giving six billion a year toward studying it. Yes, and our emissions of CO2 are lower than Europe’s and so the global warming crowd will claim Bush’s spending worked … but they’ll only use that as so called proof that we can do more, meaning spending even more money than the President who put more money into this non-existent issue than any other President has. If I were president I would not want to give one penny to global warming, so if you think global warming is a problem you could have a lot worse than Bush.
