Is the Brown Recluse First Aid Kit helpful for other venomous bites?
Hobo spiders (found in the Pacific Northwest) and other recluse species such as the Desert and Chilean Recluse will produce a necrotic wound similar to a Brown Recluse bite. We have every reason to believe that our product would produce similar results as seen in the testimonies. The venom from a Black Widow spider attacks the nervous system and doesn’t produce necrotic wounds like the Brown Recluse. For this reason, our product is less likely to be as effective on Black Widow spider bites. The Brown Recluse First Aid Kit contains ingredients that can have an attraction to a wide variety of poisons and venoms. Some of those would include: stings from a hornet, wasp, or bee; mosquito, tick, and fire ant bites; poison ivy and poison oak.
