I noticed you also asked about British and American life. Yes, they are all pretty similar. The English are more reserved – less open friendly, but a lot more civil than Americans. Americans tend to fuss more about rights, whereas the English have the concept of something not being done because it isn’t right (“not done”) regardless of law or rights. The English tend to be more stratified socially, and class does not depend so much on money. In the USA, class is all about money in many cases, but people are less concerned about class period. The English are further left politically. Canada is sort of in the middle. Fairly American in some things, fairly British in others, and once in a while, neither. But, generally, all three societies probably have more similarities than differences.
