And the first thing I saw was pretty cool: a huge American RV big enough to throw a party in, thanks to extending side compartments that transform it into a four-bedroom house when parked. The workmanship was what you’d expect on a luxury yacht, with satellite TV, intricate woodwork and all kinds of clever technology. Apparently, Will Smith and Robert De Niro have bought these things. Next to that was the stall for Knaus, a German brand I’ve heard of because Jay Kay’s got one of their C-Liner camper vans. It’s a beautiful, metallic thing with leather armchairs and a powerful three-litre engine – and the V-Liner I was looking at was even better.
