Good God no. Well, let me amend that. It may be a good system, but not for what they’re charging. Amazon has it for $1,750. That is a preposterous price for what is nothing more than an HDMI-capable receiver, a subwoofer and 5 satellite speakers. I could get you a better sounding setup for about $1,000 less. If you can afford to spend that much you can get a great home theater for about the same price: get a Blu-ray player (~$250-$400), a receiver with HDMI switching (~$500), a subwoofer (~$350), cables (~$100) and some speakers (~$400-$600).
