Is the Book of Revelations a blueprint for the end of mankind?
Literally the Book of Revelations was written by St. John to foretell of the collapse of the Roman Empire during the time of Christian persecutions, which had happened. The Book of Daniel was written by an unknown author to foretell of the collapse of Babylon during the Jewish persecutions. Metaphorically these Books can be used to foretell of the apocalypse or rapture that is yet to come.
The book of revaluation is God speaking to mankind letting them know that their will be an end to this world. It is not easy to understand. But God has faithful christians out their, who study the word and God give them insight of what he is saying. The Lord spoke in parables the bible teaches and without a parable he did not speak. People think the world was made to never end. I am sorry to tell you,but that is not the way the creator design this world to be. There is an end. It is coming very rapidly. It will be MAY 21, 2011. SO, now is the time of salvation. We only have one more full summer. That is 2010 summer months. There will be no 2011 june month.This world is coming to a closer.
