Is the Blair enquiry being broadcast live all over the world including Iraq?
It’s not here in the states because the focus is on Obama and his State of the Union speech for now. For you young people… I would say under 35 years old, let me describe what was happening and what we were hearing all the time before 9/11. I think this is very important to you if you are going to judge Blair as lines have been drawn in history, as to the importance, which is not proper lines at all and has distorted what the public thought during those times. First, if you are 35 years old, you were only 16 years old during the first Gulf War and most likely wasn’t too concerned about what was happening. History books don’t give you a good picture how everyone was feeling during that time.
