Is the behaviourist approach similar to the humanistic approach?

0

The behaviourist approach works on the premise that we learn our behaviour. How we react to things is how we have learned to react to them. In order for us to overcome negative behaviour we need to learn new ways of dealing with problems. The humanistic approach works by recognising our capabilities. It’s about providing a non judgemental environment where an individual can accept who they are and in doing so reach their full potential.
