Surf in the Laguna Beach area varies depending upon tidal action and weather. Awareness of current conditions is always advisable. Supervision and a cautious approach are essential. While the waves along many areas of the beach are often suitable for surfing, there are also many wonderful tidepools for exploration by parents and children.
