Is the battery fully recovered when the specific gravity is restored?
Not necessarily, but change in specific gravity can be an indication of battery recovery. In this case, since the pole plate area is reduced, the battery is not fully recovered (such batteries often show reduced usable time.) We carry out a discharge test which is necessary to assess the current state of batteries. Please see our exclusive Cell Tester.
