Is the Barrons Writing SAT Practice Test harder than the actual test?

All of Barron’s practice test are way harder than the real thing. I used the Barron’s test to practice for the SAT II US History, and got some horrible score, like a 600 or something. But when I took the real thing I got an 800. I don’t think Barron’s is very accurate.
