Is the Baptist religion a false religion?

0

There are over 500 different kinds of Baptist Churches. Some claim Roger Williams as founder and some the Anabaptists. Others say John Smythe in 1612 and other English Puritans founded the first Baptist church. The first Baptist church in America was 1639 in Providence, Rhode Island. Whether it is a false religion or not depends on whether you think it accurately portrays Bible teachings. Many do not believe in gifts of the Spirit, they believe in immersion for baptism, and many opposed dancing and drinking during my lifetime. Of course, the Bible teaches differently on the last two issues in my previous sentence. Some Baptist churches still brought with them false doctrines of immortality of the soul, hellfire, trinity concept in the Protestant reformation from the Catholic Church. I hope this helps!
