I cannot see the reason for closing a fast food shop because it is supposed to stop obesity. Fast food or any food eaten in moderation will not cause obesity and I think we are aware what does cause it.overeating.

I am not convinced 400 metres is far enough away from schools to stop the kids getting fast food in their lunch break, my nearest secondary school walk further than that to get their chips at lunchtime.

well i think so the food is rubbish and fattening and not good for the kids. i have to say the only fast food joint i go into is the chippie once a month for a sit down meal but at least you get fish, proper chips and peas, not hot reconstituted fried potato mix and warm round, something or others that taste disgusting etc, trouble is the kids who are brought up eating them are used to the taste and do not appreciate proper food.
