No, Slipknot is not an emo band. Although, in regards to the above mine, they are NOT the farthest thing from away from emo. The band that comes to mind when I think of bands that are the exact opposite of emo is Bring Me The Horizon, a Deathcore band from the UK. Also, Slipknot has lost a lot of my respect for bringing in Corey Taylor.
