Is the bagging of groceries a lost art?

Not at Krogers, either. The employees may be new and do not know what they are doing, but the bagging is still there. Sometimes, i help, since i worked for Krogers.

Yes it is, and it seems like there is no one to teach them better ways. My husband worked in markets for many years and he was taught to bag a certain way and it is painful to watch how they do it, or should I say, don’t do it nowadays. And this placing 2 items in one plastic bag and giving us 12 bags is silly and wasteful!!! It’s just one of the other good reason to bring your own well shaped canvas bags and bag your own groceries.
