I bought the Avent Isis manual pump, and it was rubbish! The suction on it just didn’t work. The lady in the shop actually said that a lot of women had had problems with, and stupidly I ignored her! One night my boob was horrendously blocked, and my other half ended up having to go to the 24 hour Tesco at 12 at night to get me a different one! I don’t know if you’re in the uk or US or wherever, but I got a Tomme Tippee closer to nature pump, which has been fantastic. It only cost about £20 and I’ve got some good use out of it. The bottles are really nice as well, they are meant to closely resemble a real nipple making it nicer for baby.
