Is the area around Las Vegass Stratosphere considered “ghetto”?

0

The residential areas that are “ghetto” are not visible to or accessible by guests at the Stratosphere (unless you go to the upper deck of the tower and look down). The Stratosphere is located right on the Strip. You will be able to safely walk (if you choose not to take a cab or bus) south on Las Vegas Blvd to the other Strip casinos. Flocks of tourists walk to and from the Stratosphere down the Strip 24/7. The only concern you should have is traffic on Las Vegas Blvd. Occasional panhandlers are on East Sahara Blvd and Paradise Ave. (across the street from the Stratosphere, and several blocks down). Main Street Station is at the very end (north end) of the Downtown area, and that area is not a residential area but an old commercial district. The only “residents” you will encounter there are the homeless.
