Is the Archangel Gabriel evil?

No Gabriel is one of the possible three archangels with Michael also being good and Lucifer being the fallen one Man is responsible for his own choices, the devil can offer choices and tempt… in the end the devil made me do it was a bad excuse in 2nd grade and still is Man is responsible for his own choices but having a fallen nature some commmands of GOd like loving God and the like can only be done by God’s grace and through God’s help and strength So it is false that man is captain of his own destiny and master of his own fate… in the end turn the steering wheel over to God or go down with the ship. Glorify God leaning on the work of Jesus on the cross and blieve for eternal life.

Gabriel is not evil. He and other angels such as Michael work at God’s will. Satan on the other hand was cast out of heaven because he defied God. While people have free will, they are vulnerable to external forces; good and evil. In the garden of evil, God told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of knowledge….they did because they listened to and followed Satan’s advice. Satan does horrible things to people all over the world, when he is listened to or followed. Surely people are in control of their own fate, until they choose to do evil.

Gabriel is the angel who is best known for announcing to Mary that God had chosen her to be the mother of Jesus. Gabriel is not evil. He’s a good angel, loyal to God. We can be sure about this today, because all the angels were tested once, in the distant past, and all the evil ones were numbered with Satan. Satan is the adversary of God and man. God permits Satan to maintain certain powers for reasons known only to him. Man is responsible for his actions, as Satan only has the power to tempt man, and to perform certain lying signs and wonders in man’s sight. God provides grace to those whom he loves, which, along with the assent of their own will, enables them to withstand Satan’s repeated tests and attacks, and ultimately overcome them. A lifetime of these experiences typically helps to determine whether one truly belongs in heaven with God, or whether one will prefer instead, spending a lot of quality time with Satan, in hell. God is the sole judge of this.
