The Commercial Database itself is a data warehouse. The web-based platform used to gather and use the data, however, will become an integral part of the appraiser’s practice, as it will enable the appraiser to better manage and use data internally. For instance, it will provide a central location that all users within an office are able to access internal data from. It will also allow comparable data to be exported to spreadsheet grids or word processing templates without re-keying the data.
