Is the application process different for international applicants?
As an international applicant, you still need to provide the Graduate School with the same required materials as other applicants. A complete application consists of an application for Graduate Admission, all official transcripts, applicable test scores, professional letters of recommendation, and the application fee. In addition, please request that the official scores for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) be sent to the Graduate School (CEEB Code: 6032). If you have a degree conferred by a U.S.-accredited higher education institution, the TOEFL is not required. If you have any non-English transcripts, you will need to have them translated by an official translating agency. Please contact Educational Credential Evaluators (www.ece.org), World Education Services (www.wes.org), or Global Credential Evaluators (www.gcevaluators.com) in order to get an official translation of your transcripts.
