No, American guitar-wielding folk/country veteran songwriter Don MacLean is still doing his own, laid-back thing.The singer, who has put out an incredible 26 albums in his career and produced ten Top 10 singles – including Castles in the Air, Vincent” and Dreidel – is back in the UK this month for a host of TV appearances and gigs in London’s Royal Albert Hall (May 7th) and elsewhere in the UK as part of a European-wide tour.The music industry might not be too bothered with him these days, but by the sounds of MacLean’s new album, Addicted to Black (out on April 19th), featuring 11 original songs, it’s not something that keeps him up at night.
