Many years ago, I wrote-off all small portable speaker systems (with the exception of the Bose SoundDock, which I love!). For the price, they were simply not worth it. At 3 1/2″ and 0.2 lbs, I didn’t have high hopes when I opened the package, but upon connecting the attached 8 1/2″ cable to my iPod Nano, I was quite pleased with what I heard. While it is no professional speaker system, it produces enough sound to fill a room, has decent bass capabilities, and gets great battery life.
