LOL lots of people would love to believe this conspiracy stuff LOL its not a masonic symbol – when the commitees got together to create the symbol Ben Franklin was the ONLY mason on the committee The eye – is suppose to be the “eye of providence” – ie – the eye of GOD in whom we trust above everything else including our government in case you are wondering – it was intruduce to the committe by member Pierre Du Simitire – a non-mason – and was suggested to symbolize “Gods favor to the American cause” while the masonic symbolism grew out of the same “culutral milieu” the “all seeing eye” and the “eye of providence” are parellel uses of similar icons – they ARE NOT connected in any way
