Is the air ambulance part of the National First Aid Centre (EKAB) service?
The Paros air ambulance is supported by EKAB but is not under its authority, which means that the plane is not obliged to perform emergency flights for other islands. The decision to allow operation of the air ambulance has been approved by the council responsible for social benefit foundations and also by the country’s Legal Council.
