It is important for every air ambulance company to be licensed in the state they operate out of and any other states that require licensure. The license information should be easily seen inside the aircraft, and a copy should be included in paperwork you receive with the quote. Why is it important? Some carriers have let their licenses lapse, and this reduces their accountability to you — the consumer.
