Is the Aikido International Foundation part of the Aikido Association of America?

No. The AIF is an standalone organization with an independent governing board. However, since both organizations were founded by Fumio Toyoda Shihan, they do work closely with each other. In addition, the AAA has been kind enough to allow the AIF to use its facilities for its operations and certain events.
