Is the Aerolite suited to the novice/student pilot?
Yes, very much so. The Aerolite was designed and geared towards the student pilot. The Aerolite has an excellent safety record and offers excellent crash protection in the semi enclosed pilot area along with the 4-point safety harness, but also is very strong along with a fully suspended landing gear system that will allow for those not so good landings. You can even take this safety one step further by installing a ballistic parachute recovery system offered by BRS for the Aerolite. The Aerolites flight envelope also offers very forgiving flight characteristics for the student pilot, yet retains an upper end sporty performance that will keep the student satisfied as they progress in their piloting and flying skills in the Aerolite. They will not out grow the flight envelope that the Aerolite has to offer. The student pilot that builds time in the Aerolite-103 is sure to become a very proficient pilot.
