Good Morning America of ABC has many feel good stories and also advises people of others plights and heroism. Some people watch it for the kind funny stories that are presented while others pay more attention to the stories which are more case study in nature. This is truly a variety of show that almost anyone can get something out of.
Good Morning America (GMA) is an American breakfast television news and talk show that is broadcast on the ABC television network, debuting on November 3, 1975. The weekday program airs for two hours; a third hour, available exclusively on ABC News Now, was introduced in 2007. The current one-hour weekend edition debuted in 2004. The show features news, talk, weather, and special interest stories. It is produced live from Times Square Studios in New York City and fed to all network affiliates. The program is currently hosted by Diane Sawyer and Robin Roberts. Longtime anchor Charles Gibson left the program on June 28, 2006 to become the lead anchor of ABC World News. GMA has traditionally run second in the ratings to NBC’s Today, but overtook its rival for a period from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s under its most popular anchor team of Gibson and Joan Lunden. ABC’s Good Morning America aired a disturbing video this morning. The video was of a 72 year old woman being tasered. The incident seemingly started as a routine traffic stop, then escalated to the officer tasering the feisty 72 year old great grandmother. The officer pulled the 72 year old great grandmother over for traveling at 60 miles an hour in a 45 mile an hour zone. When the officer had written her citation, the 72 year old woman refused to sign the speeding ticket. “Take me to jail, come on, take me to jail. I’m a 72 year old woman”, then the great grandmother gets out of the truck. The 72 year old woman then states “Give me the ******* thing, I’ll sign it.”, and that is when the traffic officer explodes, and shoves the elderly lady. The officer and the 72 year old great grandmother exchange words and the officer warns her that he is going to taser her. Well, he did. The 72 year old woman fell to the ground, screaming.
