Is the $400 Southeast Missouri State University contribution an effort to offset future increases in medical insurance costs?
One of the reasons that the University implemented this contribution was due to the uncertainty surrounding next year’s medical benefits program. We do not know at this time what types of deductibles or co-pays will be in effect on January 1, 2005.
