Is the 2006 Honda Civic MP3 input being recalled?
The 2006 Honda Civic has a direct input for an MP3 player, and when I plug my iPod directly in with a cable, it seems like the sound is only coming through my front left speaker strong and very weak through my other speakers. Plus it sounds pretty crappy. Whereas a regular CD sounds great and is equally distributed through all my speakers. I know the sound quality of an MP3 player isn’t as good as CD, but that doesn’t explain how the sound is distributed through my speakers. It almost doesn’t make me want to listen to music through my iPod. My friend said he heard that Honda knows about the problem and is recalling the MP3 player input in the car to fix it. I couldn’t find anything online that mentions the recall. Does anyone else have this problem in their car? Have you found a way to resolve it? Have you heard anything about this supposed recall?
