Is Thai food complicated to cook?
Many Thai dishes take 20 minutes or less to prepare. Much of the ingredients are very fresh and cooked al dente (with bite). Stir frying items with common ingredients such as cilantro, lemon grass, and chilies gives a great Thai flavor. The trick though to your flavoring is to provide a condiment set with the meal. A Thai condiment set always includes: sour flavoring (often chilies in vinegar or lime-based chili sauce), sugar, spicy hot flavoringĀ (can include roasted red chilies), and fish sauce. Occasionally you will find chopped peanuts to add to noodle dishes.
Thai cooking is actually great fun. My favorite thing to make are spring rolls, which are a breeze once you learn the art of rolling rice paper. I promise you can still tell people you slaved in the kitchen all day when you serve your delicious Thai recipes. They will be so good no one will know it took you less than an hour!
