Is texting with boost mobile really that bad?
Unfortunately, you simply heard the truth. I had a bud out in Illinois who bought $600 worth of Boost walkie talkie phones and plans. Had such a bad experience, he went BACK to a NON unlimited contract plan for TWO years to get an iphone with Att. It’s not just texting, dropped calls and calls not going through are frequently cited complaints of Boost Mobile Walkie talkie. Oh yeah, and horrible customer service. There are actually two Boost mobiles. The one you hear all the bad things about: Boost iden/walkie talkie/has a sim, runs on Nextel and the one that still exists but no one hears anything about: Boost cdma/no walkie talkie/no sim and runs on Sprint. I have used Boost Cdma and have no problems with texting or calling, the parts of a plan that MATTER for a phone company for 14 months. I would never recommend Boost iden to anyone until they really fix it. So far , the best that they have done is have it working for a while, then it breaks again. This has been documented in reports
