Is Tendulkar the greatest since Bradman?
The greatest batsman since Bradman – the operative phrase is “since Bradman” – not, whether Tendulkar is better than Bradman. That’s not the question. Anyway, for my money, Ponting, Tendulkar, Steve Waugh, Brian Lara, Greg Chappell & Jacques Kallis are in a league of their own. Further back were Garfield Sobers & Graeme Pollock, but sticking to post-1970 era I’ll go for G. Chappell, for his batting skills under pressure, although the infamous underarm incident v NZ will blot his copybook for time immemorial.
