Is technical support available from library staff?
Sorry, library staff are not trained to troubleshoot your wireless device. All patrons who want to use this service are expected to be familiar with their own equipment. If your device does not connect correctly and you have checked the following wireless card settings, we suggest you contact the manufacturer of the hardware or software. The library is not responsible for any changes you make to your device settings. In addition, the library cannot guarantee your equipment will work with this service. Network name or SSID = Unfiltered or Filtered Wireless mode or network type = 802.11b or 802.
Library staff is unable to assist with setting up wireless Internet access on your computer; you are responsible for setting up your own equipment. If you have any problems connecting, consult your computer’s manual for using the wireless setup utility. The Library also has several books on wireless Internet; consult a reference librarian for further assistance.
