Reguardless of where tap water comes from, unless a private well, it is treated to a certain degree and is drinkable. There is still a bunch of stuff that can be in it to make it unhealthy. You only need to boil water if you have been told to do so to kill any organisms in it. However, you don’t want to boil it on a regular basis and expect better health benefits.
