Is TAM a form of muscular dystrophy?
Not in my opinion but there are other views. I think that a true dystrophy requires a deficiency of dystrophin and I have never read of any suggestion of this in TAM. Muscular Dystrophy Association websites frequently list TAM and this may mislead you into believing that there is a connection. In fact the various Muscular Dystrophy Associations assist with a wide range of muscle diseases including many that are certainly not dystrophies.
