Is taking antibiotics for urinary tract infection, a sensible move?
An estimate of ten million women is expected to visit their doctor each year because of the pain caused about by infection within the urinary tract. Expectedly, all of these women will be given antibiotics. A high percentage of women will then thank their doctors after a span of one week or more because antibiotics for urinary tract infection worked, but it is not the end yet because some of these women will either create another infection or develop antibiotics resistant E-coli bacteria. When this thing happens, it will then creates another problem within the body hence a larger dose of antibiotics will be prescribed. What antibiotics do to our beneficial bacteria? Every human body possesses beneficial bacteria that will keep infection causing bacteria to be under control. Antibiotics won’t be able to spare these beneficial bacteria hence they will kill them too together with those bad bacteria that they were prescribed for.
