A. Synthetic turf is not impervious. Rainwater will flow through the turf infill, through the stone and into the sub-drainage system. Initial studies done by ELA have shown that not all runoff goes into the sub-drainage system. Some of the water infiltrates into the subsurface and returns to the groundwater. ——– Q.
