Is synchronization over WIFI encrypted?
Yes, and no. The raw data communication between Strip and Strip Sync occurs over your local WiFi network with whatever encryption is in place for wireless communication. The connection between the two programs is just a simple TCP/IP connection. No sensitive data is transmitted un-encrypted during sync, but data like operation codes are passed clear-text. Once the two programs have negotiated the sync protocol, all data passed between them is still fully encrypted.
