Is sweating a medical problem?
Scientists and biologists have studies sweating and determined that it is a medical problem that can be successfully treated. Many have also associated sweating with nervousness or acute anxiety which some doctors and psychiatrists have linked to psychological issues. Possible treatments There are many possible ways of eliminating sweating. Some are low tech and some are high tech. Many organizations propose natural remedies such as taking regular showers, tuning your body with regular exercise, and certain diets. High tech remedies include Botox and a technique known as endoscopic transthoracic sympathectomy which involves creating tiny incisions into the skin to repair faulty sweat glands. Chinese herbal specialists have also proposed acupuncture as a possible remedy.
