Yes – the Airport is open and will remain open. All the roads to BKK Airport are Guarded by soldiers and Police and Soldiers guard all the Doors to BKK Airport on all the Levels. I was in Bangkok recently and it was only the Diplomatic area and around Nana Plaza which had problems but now that has spread to Siam Square area which has closed down the main shopping area and I am sure will effect Night Market. How ever while I was in Thailand for a month I had no problems. As long as you stay away from the Protest Area’s you will have no problem. If any one on this forum is now not going to BKK from London then please can you give me your Plane Ticket as I would Travel there tomorrow .
